Assignment #8. Art Project, Photoshop

Dear blog, this project is one of my favorites and I know that my professor really liked too. At the beginning it was hard, and I had to repeat it two or three times until I finally got this great result. I really like Frida Kahlo's art and poems. I feel very related to her in many ways, so she perfectly fit me in the image. The picture of myself that I chose was picked on purpose, so that this project would look amazing. Undoubtedly, one of my favorites!!

Assignment #10. Animation Video

Dear blog, we had to create an animation video in Photoshop. For me was really hard because I had zero knowledge about the creation of videos in Photoshop. After several attempts, I did learn how to put all the images together. This one was really special because I made it about my friends here at UT. Then the audio was created on GarageBand, I mixed loops and my voice. I was ashamed of doing that but it ended up pretty awesome. Assignment #3. Calligram Project

Dear blog, usually, I relate butterflies to liberty and freedom. My poem represents how butterflies fly to whatever place they want, with their beautiful colors. I let my mind fly whit no sense of direction, just soaring through the sky. Like a person driving on the highway with the wind blowing their hair back, not having a care in the world. Butterflies give me that priceless feeling.  One side depicts freedom and the other butterflies, as the butterfly I created is divided into two pieces. I loved my concept more than my creation.

Assignment #4. Gradient Mesh

Dear blog, this lamp has a special value for me. It was the first thing I bought when I arrived at The University of Tampa. I remember trying to find a place in my dorm room where it could perfectly fit. I really like the result of the project, as I consider this one to be one of the hardest. I spent hours on this one. The gradient mesh tool was hard to use at the beginning. However, after several youtube tutorials, I finally got the result I wanted. I have the original and the one created by me in Adobe Illustrator.
